I have a confession to make.
It's about forgiving and forgetting. I have this issue in doing both. I remember one episode of SEX AND THE CITY (yeah,..I love that series, so what?) discussing that. Remember that Carrie Bradshaw always starts and ends the episode with a contemplation about sex and feelings? She was once betrayed by BIG and in her contemplation she really wanted to forget and forgive him. She left the viewers with a question: How can we forget if we can't forgive and how can we forgive if we can't forget?
There's unsuccessful movie still relates to the issue in forgiving and forgetting. It's about a device enabling us to control which memories we want to keep. The actor--somebody who lost his wife--kept a video about their last being together in a park. He watched that memory again and again although at that time there was another woman loving him. The woman got really tired of not going anywhere with this man. She decided to leave the man with a statement: "Memories are designed to fade."
I just wish that things were a lot simpler to me. I just wish that the particular memory I have in my mind faded easily so that by then I could forgive and forget. Pray for me, please.

Based on experience, forgiving is easier than forgetting, Li. But trust me, we all are over it when we decide to move on. Good luck. :-)
