DEFENSIVE
9:52 PM
The conversation between me and my alter-ego started to get me.
“So, you are saying that if I admit that you so-called benefit theory were true—even at the slightest—my being as a human will not be ok?” I repeated my question.
He nodded again and gave me that grin of a life time.
"I..I don't get it."
"Don't get it or won't accept it?"
"What do you mean?"
"I mean that my sentence is bold."
"No, it's not. I disagree with you. Just because I don;t believe you doesn't mean that my world is crashing down. I can kill you and make another of you in a sec."
"That's just...human on how we know you."
"You have been very judgmental on me. I don't like you."
"You can kill me and put me away and get back to your senses."
"O, I will!"
"Then it only proves that your world is shaken."

An introduction to DENIAL
1:22 AM“I come back.”
“I know.” My alter ego said.
“So I am right.” He added.
“I don’t know.” I hesitated for a while. His benefit theory seems rather cruel to me.
“O yes, you do. If I were wrong, I would not appear. As a matter of fact, my appearance here stated that you think I am of benefit.”
“And what benefit would that be?”
“You will know in time.”
“Why don’t I know it now?”
“O, you do know it already. You just haven’t admitted it yet.”
“Is that even possible?”
“It’s called “denial”.”
“Denial, huh?”
“Yes. You have it but you don’t admit it.”
“And that happens because….” I put a dumb face to him in this complete-the-sentence activity.”
“Because you are a human.”
“What?” I was a bit confused.
“Humans do that. They deny things when they do not want to admit them because doing that will shake their self-being.”
“So, you are saying that if I admit that you so-called benefit theory were true—even at the slightest—my being as a human will not be ok?”
He didn’t answer me.
He just nodded.
The Benefit Theory
8:22 AM"Isn't everyone interesting?" I asked my alter ego that sixty million dolar question.
"In a way,..yes." He said. And then he added "However, oftentimes we do not have sufficient time to understand them. Inevitably we choose to understand people if they are of benefit for us.
"But that is just so cruel!" I remarked.
"The benefit theory works subconsciously. It takes many forms from business deals, friendship and even love."
"But that's just..." I haven't finished my sentence when he said:
"Analyze the relationship you have with others first. See me again only if I'm right."
